POS FOUNDATION AND NANA CHURCHER FOUNDATION DONATE TO ROYAL SEED ORPHANAGE HOME

The POS Foundation in collaboration with the Nana Churcher Foundation based in the U.K have donated some items to the Royal Seed Orphanage Home at Kwao Bondzie (Kasoa) in the Central Region of Ghana.

The Orphanage is a home to over 200childrens and adults. Most of the children have received formal education and others are being trained in technical and vocational fields. One of the girls at the orphanage is a final year student of the Takoradi Technical University .

Reverend Father Michael Quaicoe who represented Nana Churcher Foundation stated that during this time, the Lord who brought them far will continue to be with them .

He urged individuals and organizations to support orphanages, persons with disability and the widows in our community in one way or the other.

The Executive Director of POS Foundation, Mr. Jonathan Osei Owusu took time to educate the children on the precautionary measures that needs to be observed during this period of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

He stated that the Foundation together with another organization are committed to ensuring the vulnerable and less privileged including orphans and prisoners are supported and given the necessary information to help prevent the further spread of the corona virus.

The Founder, Mrs Naomi Esi Amoah when asked the motivation behind the establishment, stated that she had a dream of taking care of children who were not biologicaly hers and therefore saw it as a calling.

The orphanage was very appreciative of the kind gesture from the POS and Nana Churcher Foundation and called for more organizations and individuals to emulate this kind gesture and support the vulnerable in the society in times like this.
