I Am Not Shy Of Going To The Streets To Sell My “Honey”, Because The Movie Industry Doesn’t Pay – Akuapem Poloo

Controversial Ghanaian actress, video vixen and entrepreneur Rosemond Brown, popularly known as Akuapem Poloo has revealed that the income she gets from the movie industry is so small that it can’t cater for her expenses.
Speaking in a recent interview with Happy FM’s DJ Adviser on the Ayekoo After Drive show, Akuapem Poloo stated that “the movie industry doesn’t pay and that is why I am on the streets selling honey”.
According to Akuapem Poloo, she has no shame in selling honey on the streets because that is what caters for her bills and helps her to take care of her son.Poloo further explained that even though she does not earn much from the movie industry, she has no intention of getting intimate with men in the movie industry to earn more movie roles as other actresses do. She was also of the view that men in the movie industry will not make such an offer to her as they are afraid of being exposed.
Akuapem Poloo’s fame escalated after she was tagged in a post by American female rapper, Cardi B who referred to her as her “Twinnie”  after the two engaged in twerking and rolling on the floor at the Cardi B meet and greet program at Kempinski hotel in Accra.
Akuapem Poloo has since claimed that Cardi B has been sending her money and would feature in a music video with her very soon.
