In the traditional society or religion, each clan is associated with a particular animal or a totem. The animal reveals the kind of spirit of the clan or family, and helps to give them identity.

In Christianity, we are basically identified with God, and uniquely identified according to our destinies and purpose on this earth.

God identifies Himself with only two animals - the Eagle and the Lion. In the following scriptures God identifies Himself in the nature of an eagle. *Exodus 19:4* says,
*Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagle's wings, and brought you unto myself*

Also, *Psalm 91:4* says,

*He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust: His truth shall be thy shield and buckler*
(You may also read Deuteronomy 32:11-12)

God also identifies Himself in the nature of a lion. *He is the Lion of Judah* Hosea 11:10 says,

They will walk after the LORD,
He will roar like a lion;
Indeed He will roar
And His sons will come trembling from the west

Now, man was created in the image and likeness of God (according to Genesis 19:4) - this defines the general nature and characteristics of man. Therefore, man is identified either as an eagle or a lion according to the kind of spirit they have. The Eagle is the king of the birds'   kingdom whereas the Lion is the king of the animals' kingdom.

An eagle cannot reproduce with a lion. An eagle mates with its kind likewise the lion also mates with its kind.
Therefore, in marriage, the couple must be of the same kind, either the lion spirit or the eagle spirit.

It's very important to first know whom you are, whether you are of a lion or an eagle. *You may know this by studying the characteristics of the two animals, including their leadership skills*. Sometimes you may know it through dreams and visions; at times you may dream and see yourself flying. This doesn't make you a witch or wizard, it means you carry the eagle's anointing.

Have you ever noticed that you have similar behaviour with certain people?  At times you do say that your spirit doesn't click with another person's spirit - why?

When an eagle marries a lion to form a family, it's a disaster - and soon the marriage collapses. You need to make sure that the person you are marring to form a family has the same anointing with you - either all lions or all eagles.

If you are an eagle, there are so many eagles to choose from, so, choose wisely

The same way if you are a lion, there are so many lions to choose from, so, choose wisely

From personal experience, God will not give you a specific person to marry, but He can guide you to choose wisely. God can give you options but the decision lies in your hands.

*Identifying the type of family you are about to form starts with, first, identifying yourself*

Remember, when the family tears apart, it's the children that suffers, and God will not be happy with that.

To be continued....

May God help us and guide us in all that we do
