The United Nations Youth Association ( UNYA )  Ghana has sworn in new ambassadors for Goodwill, Peace and Commissioners on Saturday 28th August 2020.

The ambassador's were:

1. Mr. Idrees Arimiyaa - sworn in as peace ambassador

2. Dr. Sheikh Abubakar M. Thiam - sworn in as peace ambassador

3. Mrs. Sandra Asamoah - sworn in as peace ambassador

4. Rev. Collins Adu-Ntim - sworn in as peace ambassador

5. Bishop Michael N. A. Mensah - sworn in as goodwill ambassador.

6. Rina Yakuel Kerzner - women's deputy commissioner

7. Hon. Harriet Anita Araba  Abaidoo - sworn in as women commissioner.

The event was attended by the country head of the United Nations Youth Association, Her Excellency Lillian Sally Addo, the head of legal team for United Nations Youth Association, Hon. Victor Opeku, Esq, and kings and queens from the Greater Accra Region.

The ambassadors were urged to insure election safety while empowering the youth. They were reminded that, to do this they would need to ensure people come together to make our environment safe for our families.

The ambassadors were reminded that patience is necessary in their discharge of duties while showing love to all anywhere they find themselves.

The United Nations youth association is a youth-led non-profit organisation that models the UN agenda and aims to empower the Ghanaian youth.
