Speaking to Mr. Ofer  Tamir, the General Manager of Agritop Ghana Limited, he said this gesture is to share what Agritop has been doing under PFJ program to the public and also to make people aware of the technology Agritop is putting in agriculture which would result in the production of quality vegetables. "By donating to the Ministry of Inner City and Zongo Development, for onward distribution to communities, Agritop and MOFA would be fighting against hunger during the Covid-19 period" he stated.

The Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture, Hon. George Oduro said on an interview that, "Under PFJ, there are five modules and Greenhouse Villages is one of them. Their mandate is to produce vegetables and now these vegetables are ready for consumption. That's why we have donated it to the Ministry of Inner City and Zongo Development so that they can care for the distribution to the communities under its jurisdiction.

He went on to say that very soon the foodstuffs would be on the market and this gesture is an opportunity to introduce the greenhouse vegetables to people while fighting Covid-19 hunger.

The Ministry of Inner City and Zongo Development then expressed it's gratitude for such a gesture and promised to put it to good use. They then sent it to the Osu community for distribution to the general public.
