The Methodist Church Ghana has awarded health workers in the Accra Diocese for their immense dedication and hard work during the pandemic.
In all about six hundred and thirty usix health workers form all the twenty-three circuits of the Accra Diocese of the Methodist Church of Ghana were awarded.
Each health worker identified from the Accra Diocese of the Methodist Church Ghana received a Certificate of Recognition for their role they played in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
Speaking to media Right Reverend Samuel K. Osabutey, the Methodist Bishop of Accra, he said this was necessary because Jesus laid an example in Matthew 25 : 31 – 46 in the Holy Bible therefore as Christians we need to emulate that.
He added that God works through human being and therefore the need for thanking the health workers from the Accra Dioceses of the Methodist Church Ghana.
The Mount Olivet Methodist Chapel, Dansoman used the occasion to thank God for protection during the Covid - 19 pandemic.
The church also received a cross from the Nbiah family as part of a one year remembrance of the death of Mr. Mbeah
