*The Dome Kwabenya chapter of  Ga East Council of Imams (GECI), yesterday 22nd Nov 2020, held a meeting on the theme: "How To Achieve Peace Before, During and After The Election"

The event which was held on the Almasjid Dome Pillar 2 Kwasi Oppong Junction, brought together key personalities in the Muslim fraternity.

Speaking with "Ghana News Desk" on behalf of Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya Robert Osei Bonsu reiterated government's commitment to ensuring that protocols put in place to combat the global pandemic is observed by all.

"To protect ourselves against the covid 19, the Hon. Member of Parliament had donated 100 pieces of mat, bags of rice and other PPEs to the deprived in the community",  he added.

In conclusion, he urged parent and leaders of the Muslim community to advise the youths against involvement in any form of activity that would mare the peace of this nation.

He encouraged all to vote massively for Nana Addo and the NPP come December 7.

Sheik Suleman,  leader of the Dome Kwabenya GECI charged politicians to speak the truth at all times and avoid the use of foul language on campaign platforms.
