Non-governmental organisations in the Greater Accra region has organised peace walk at the Agbobloshie Market.

the non-governmental organisation comprising of the Give Me Hope Foundation, the Glimer Hope Foundation and many more walked from the Agbogbloshie market to the Odododiodoo  constituency while campaigning for peace.

Participants of the Peace walk held  placards with the inscription Peace Not Violence, Ghana Wins We Win, Make Peace Win , Peace not Chaos, Political Intolerance A Seed for Political War among others as they walked from the Agbogbloshie market to the Anumansa Divisional Palace in Jamestown and back to the Sikines at the Agbobloshie Market.

After having after having the peace walk the the non-governmental organisations had health screening for the general public and served meals to about 2000 people.

Speaking to Mr Wisdom Dodoe, the Chief Executive Officer for Give Me Hope Foundation he said just get styes purposely to seek peace while using the opportunity to help brilliant but the needy students to have access to education.

He added that the general public was also given the opportunity to renew their expired National Health Insurance Scheme cards.

Explained that this gesture has been replicated in all the regions and Greater Accra was the last since the foundations have their headquarters in Accra.

Mr. Wisdom Dodoe used the opportunity peace during the upcoming general elections.

Ghana News Desk spoke to some residents and they expressed their profound gratitude to the foundation for remembering them during this Covid-19 pandemic.
