Afoa Impact Foundation together with Derby's Foundation have given back to society by donating PPEs, learning materials and school uniforms to the Mangoase English/ Arabic school of the Akuapim North District.


      Speaking to the founder of Afoa Impact Foundation, Amoako Afoa Linda and the PRO for Derby's Foundation, Bernice Nana Yaa Sarpongmaa Aboagye, they explained government cannot do all so this is the little they can also do to ensure safety of school children in this Covid season.


      They provided the school with 500 nose/face masks for teachers,500 for school children and 50 pieces was obtained from a donor, liquid soaps, tissues,basins, Veronica buckets,10 boxes of marker,30 yards of uniform,etc are a list of some items donated to the school.


    They further added that the foundation is there to support every needy citizen and it's not discriminatory therefore an appeal was made to stakeholders, individuals, government agencies and the general public to help them in terms of sponsorships to enable them push further and help grow the nation.

    Headmistress of the school,Mrs. Patience Ayesu also speaking expressed utmost gratitude to both foundation and it's crew for their immense support towards the school and promised to take good care of all the materials given them.

        She further added that most of the students are yet to resume school due to the fear of contracting the Covid 19 disease, she therefore advised parents to allow their kids return back to school as they would ensure the safety of the school children.

Furthermore she appealed to the Education Ministry and Ghana Education Service to deploy more teachers to the school as they lack teachers resulting them to combining some classes together making it difficult for them to adhere to the social distance protocols.

   Some students also thanked the foundations for the honour done them.
