Former President John Dramani Mahama says the 7-0 and 9-0 judgement delivered by the Supreme Court in the 2020 election petition brings finality to the matter despite their reservations and disappointment during the landmark trial.

2020 National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer H.E Mahama dragged Jean Mensa-led Electoral Commission and President Akufo-Addo to court over erroneous declaration presidential result.

Proceedings presided over by Chief Justice Anim Yeboah saw several unanimous ruling against the petitioner including attempts to serve interrogatories on the EC Chair Jean Mensa,  reviews, stay of proceedings and to even cross examine her was also shot down by the bench.

According to the former Ghanaian Leader John Mahama, although the party and his outfit disagreed with the unanimous verdict on the heart of the petition during proceedings and final judgment from Ghana's  apex court, the 7-0 outcome can only end the matter.
