Ministry Of Education Declares 21st Century Education System For Economic Development,At Ghana Institute Of Management And Public Administration (GIMPA) Auditorium On The 7th April.2021.
"Creating a 21st century education system for economic development is our agenda,because education is a strong key for development in the society which is the basic as a foundation, while because in this 21st century as an Educationists ,we don't creat jobs but we rather creat a great mind for a great economy development through initiative ability."said by Honorable Minister, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum (mp),when he was speaking at (GIMPA) Auditorium.
Education has for long been recognized as a basic tool for the economic development of any nation.This is predicated on the notion that it empowers any nation to rise to the challenges of social and economic transformation and technology change in developing a country.
"Countries obtaining their independence seek to reform education to accelerate socio-economic transformation. Ghana has not been an exception because education serve as a major priority on various governments agenda,"he said.
Many European merchant made several attempts to introduce formal education. They included the DUTCH THE DANES,and ENGLISH. in the present colonial time, education in Ghana was informal, and therefore knowledge and competency were orally transmitted or through trade apprenticeship.
