Residents of Agbozume-Klikor Lotakor Apedovia in the Ketu South District of the Volta Region are appealing to government, phillanthropsts and Civil Society Organisations to immediately help them resolve issues of water shortage in the area.  

Water shortage in Agbozume-Klikor Lotakor Apedovia has been a source of worry to residents after the area has been hardly hit with lack of access to water. Residents have to walk for long distance in search of water for domestic use. 

This school girl Mavis, could not get water to wash her school  uniform at the Ghana News Desk got to village. 

Ghana News Desk's Jerry Akornor's visit to the village saw many residents carrying gallons in search of water. The obvious lack of access to water has forced residents to rely solely on this for washing and other domestic uses : 


Tsemigah  Atsuvia Agboli, a resident told Ghana News Desk that the village is in urgent need of support of government, non-governmental Organisations, philanthropists and Civil Society Organizations to fix the old-aged water shortage issue in the area. According to him, water remains one of the basic necessities of life and efforts must be made to increase access.  "We are appealing to government, CSOs to help fix the long existing water shortage in the village", he told Ghana News Desk's Jerry Akornor.
