The Public Relations Officer of the National Chapter Committee of Hearts of Oak, Kwabena Asante Jones, has urged all the Hearts of Oak fans to keep calm and rally behind their new Head Coach, and they will get results.

Hearts of oak, who are keen on ending eleven years league drought, appointed former Medeama Head Coach Samuel Boadu, to guide them to bring back the glory days.

Hearts of Oak lost to Dreams FC by two goals to nil at Dawu last weekend, has sparked a lot of controversies among the club, with the supporters mounting pressure on the coach to get them the needed results.

Amid the controversies, the supporters PRO in an interview with Accra-based radio stations Asempa FM, has urged the supporters to remain calm and rally behind the technical team and the players, and the results will come.

He reiterated the fact that the coach was appointed in the middle of the season and he needs time to get the needed results.

“I’m urging our fans to stop the pressure they giving the coach, he is new and all the people around him are new people, there is nobody to learn from”

“ If the decision to appoint him was made before the season starts, then we have every right to criticize him, but for now, lets seize fire and support them”

Samuel Boadu was appointed by Hearts in March 2021, after they parted way with Serbian Costa Papic. He signed  three and half years contract and pockets $2,500 every month. He was tasked by the board to win this season's league.

Meanwhile, Boadu has led Hearts to six league matches, won three, drew one and lost two and currently sit on fourth position on the league log with 34 points.
