Accra: Launch of the Multi-Stakeholder Heritage Strategic Plan Framework

Ghana Heritage Committee has launched the 2022 to 2025 Multi-Stakeholder Heritage Strategic Plan Framework on five strategic priority areas The strategic framework covers governance and legislation, climate change and development, capacity building, sustainability and sustainable development and finally, partnership collaboration.
Deputy minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mark Okraku speaking at the launch said, this multi stakeholder heritage strategic framework falls in line with the ministry vision to position tourism sector to generate 5b USD grant as well as bringing in 2 million tourists and creating over two thousand direct and four thousands indirect jobs which is base on the country rich and unique resources He also added that it’s a clearance call for both state actors and non state actors to gather more momentum towards delivering on the set strategic outcome of the plan.
