The President for Women in Ministries Network, Poster Ivy Yayra has disclosed that, God created woman for a purpose adding that, without the Holy spirit, women in Christ cannot do anything on their own. She made this remarks in an interview during a day conference of Women in Ministry held in Accra on the theme, “The Holy Spirit Working through Women in the last days”.
Women in Ministry Network is made up of women doing the work of God or female Christians that are working for God. The Women in Ministry Network comprises of Women Pastors, Pastors wives and church workers who are women. The conference looked into the purpose for which God created women so that, if there are contentions or limitations, they would be able to move to achieve their aims and serve God better.
Pastor Ivy revealed that, they have come together because, they have the believe that knowledge is shared and therefore, with the experience that people have, it can be shared when coming together. “The one that need support will get it. The one that need to be encouraged would be supported with encouragement so that, they can do well in their various churches and their ministries”. The word of God Pastor Yayra mentioned, is paramount and a guiding principles that is why, God in his own wisdom created a man and a woman. “We have come together because, we believe that what we are doing, the men are also doing. There are girls schools, there are vocational schools and there are boys schools”. The Coordinator for Women in Ministry Network, Pastor Melody Amartey disclosed that, the Ministry is an Organization that seeks to bring together, women or ladies who have the passion to work for God. The Organization he averred, has observed that, because of motherhood and work related issues, most women don’t know how to balance their personal life or marriage life with that of the Ministry. “But, with conference like Women in Ministry, we bring a balance in a woman life as a Pastor, as a Pastor’s wife, woman’s life as a church worker and where the woman has to balance that with her social life and every aspect of life,” she stated.
