He talks like he is a saint — Shatta blasts Sarkodie for calling him a crazy person

Ghana’s most influential rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, better known as Sarkodie sometime ago appeared in an interview with MacG in South Africa, where he was asked to choose between Shatta Wale and Kuami Eugene.

Responding to that question, which was a game dubbed, "One must go," Sarkodie said as much as he loves Kuami Eugene, he will choose his long-time colleague Shatta Wale, whom he described as being a "crazy person."

His reason for calling Shatta a crazy person was that Shatta mostly causes stirs in the industry, which he again admitted was a factor in the rise of the Ghanaian music industry.

“My brother is crazy, he can just wake up and something will happen. I have lost count of it. He sometimes appears on radio stations and will be throwing at me and all that. But that is somebody who brought heat into the energy into the industry,” that was Sarkodie’s statement.

However, the self-acclaimed dancehall king, speaking at the back of this in an interview with the Accra-based Hitz FM, said Sarkodie must learn public speaking manners.

According to Shatta Wale, Sarkodie's statements are an attempt to prove his innocence and portraying him as a bad person.

“When he talks like that, somebody will think that Shatta is a mad man. You see, we don’t make statements like that. It’s crazy if Sarkodie can just make a statement like that. It looks like he doesn’t even know where he is. He doesn’t know what he is doing because you shouldn’t even voice out like that,” he fumed.

“I can also go out and say Sarkdoie sleeps with any girl he sees. I can also say that, but do you know what people will think of him?” he quizzes.
